I happened upon the greeter program just before my trip to Munich, and was a bit of a skeptic. I can say that after my time with my Greeter Jane, I'm a firm believer in just how great this program is. This is not a one-size-fits-all free tour, the greeters actually take the time to understand your interests and what you want to get out of the tour, and plan their time to suit you. I absolutely enjoyed every second of the time with my greeter, and know for a fact that I would not have had as great of a time on my own or even on a paid tour. If you're on the fence, apply and give as much detail as possible, and you'll be blown away by the glimpse of the true Munich you get!
