I mentioned that I wanted to find out about foods in Munich, so we started with the Viktualienmarkt, where she introduced me to some trademark foods like the Leberkäs (also went back the next day to get one before catching my train to Switzerland). We also walked around the surrounding neighborhood to the famous Schmalznudel – Cafe Frischhut,,,heaven for fried, sugary dough! She also suggested some Munich neighborhoods to stroll around in. I highly recommend the Greeter program!
