We had a fantastic tour of Munich with Eberhard on 16 March! He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and current culture of Munich. He was very well prepared with several historic maps, pictures, and renderings so we could compare what we were currently seeing with what it had looked like in the past. He also showed us several practical places (markets, wine and craft brew shops) in our neighborhood that made our stay extremely enjoyable. We met him around 1300 and had a full day tour that ended around 2200 and saw much of historic Munich as well as some of the local shops and beer halls for lunch and dinner. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Eberhard and very much appreciate his time and energy showing us around Munich. Booking this tour at the beginning of our 8 days there was the best thing we could have done and would highly recommend doing the same. Munich is such an amazing city and it made it even more enjoyable to know the history behind what you are seeing!
