My wife and I were in Munich for one night and didn't know what to do other than aimlessly walk around our hotel area. We thought we had no where near enough time to make doing anything else worthwhile. We got in touch with Munich Greeter (more in hope than anything!) and Frank responded.

I couldn't imagine a better guide. His English was absolutely perfect. In the 3hrs we spent with him walking around the Marienplatz area of Munich, I think we learnt more about that area's history than we did about London even though we spent an entire week there! (Slight exaggeration, but Frank was honestly that good). It always nice to talk to someone who clearly loves the area and is constantly learning as he goes. So many little things we would never have noticed, but were the result of absolutely crucial moments in German (or even world) history. Amazing.

The only downside is that I now wish we chose to spend a few more nights in Munich rather than setting off for the Alps the next day 🙁
