Many thanks go to Andy for helping me understand how I could navigate the airport to turn a 10-hour layover into an introduction to Munich (and Germany), and then connecting me with Marnie for a 3-hour greet. She very generously rearranged her work commitments to accommodate my limited availability, and then showed me so much more about Munich than I would have thought possible. I felt I had made a new friend as we toured the sights, and am so grateful this organization exists.
