Greeter are flexible and do their best to react upon the wishes and interests of their guests. They will also meet you whenever and wherever it suits you best.
Imagine you only had some hours to discover the city. Wouldn’t it be nice to meet somebody just after you arrived at the Central Station, even if it was at 7am in the morning?
A Greet at 7 in the Morning
This is how greeter Ramona met visitor Alex during her stopover to France. In fact, 7am is a good time to stroll through the still empty city center, enjoy some traditional Rohrnudeln (sweet dumplings made of yeast dough) or Schmalznudeln (fried dough pastry) for breakfast and see Munich slowly coming to life. And after the greeter breakfast you can continue visiting the town on your own.
Of course, you will have to discover that one day is not enough. Alex already decided that she has to come back 🙂
By the way: one of the best places for fresh made Rohr- or Schmalznudeln is the Café Frischhut. It is one of the first places to open in the morning and thus especially well know to early risers and to night owls who use it as a stopover on their way home.
