Very remarkable: the introduction. It contains a proposal for a „perfect day in Munich“, best of-lists for rainy days and low budget-travelling. Besides the guide explains typical features of Munich. Last but not least, there are some funny texts on the town and its atmosphere, mentality, culture and clichés. Most of them hit the mark and tune you in on your visit! The photos illustrate the words very adequately and have good recognition value. Of course, most of them were taken when the weather was really fine. But looking at them will wet your appetite for a trip to Munich.

More or less real tips from inside
A regular part of the Marco Polo series are the insiders´ tips and highlights. True, some of the named sites, events and restaurants are not total mainstream, but don´t expect too much. Once published, they aren´t very private tips any longer. Nevertheless, the highlights make a good visiting program to get a complete idea of the town. The book closes with useful practical tips and some interesting proposals for a city trip with children.
